Bruce & Walker Norway Deluxe Rods: 

 

Over the years we have provided many special order Bruce & Walker Fly Rods for customers around the world. These have proved popular as they mean the customer can have a unique fly rod made to their exacting specification. 

We have decided that we will now offer the superb Norway fly rods finished as a Powerlite Deluxe for customers who like the nice fancy bits on the rods. 

The have the standard Norway blank, but will be finished as a Deluxe. The finish is a high gloss dark blue with co-coordinating blue whippings. They have hard chrome SIC butt ring, hard chrome tip ring, with intermediate snake rings. The cork handle is of the highest, Flor grade cork. The elegant new pewter colored high grade aluminum screw winch fitting completes the rod. They come with a Bruce & Walker Cordura rod tube. 

The is a 4 week delivery time due to the rod being built to order. 

You can have you name on the rod at no extra charge.

Norway Speycaster 13' # 7 - 9
These rods originally made for Norway (hence the name) an all round Spring and Autumn rod. Easy through action but not soft.

NorwaySpeycaster 14' # 9
A slightly more powerful rod. Not too stiff in the butt with more than enough power throughout to allow you to cast further and with ease. Originally made for the bigger and fast flowing Norwegian rivers, we've 'calmed' it down for the rivers closer to home.

Norway Speycaster 15' # 9 - 10
A real through action rod. Very responsive to your instructions and has plenty of power to withstand the less than pleasant weather conditions. Will cast into a wind with ease.

Norway Speycaster 15' # 10 - 11
A solid, through action rod. You'll feel the response of the rod from tip to butt. This rod needs no effort at all to cast as it has enormous reserves of power. 

Norway Speycaster 16' # 9 - 10
They have produced in the Norway range a rod based on our very popular 16' #9-10 Powerlite Speycaster. This rod has a through action with power in reserve

Norway Speycaster 18' # 11
As it's name implies this is a big river rod. Built to extreme technical dimensions to allow the angler maximum amount of power and load when needed to cast huge distances, yet keep in total control. It's lightness and casting capabilities makes this rod the king of all salmon fly rods wherever in the world you roam
